The Snow Creature was a mechanical monstrosity, controlled by Avalanche Anderson by remote control from afar, to terrorize a snowboarding competition.
Physical appearance[]
It was a very tall, jagged robot made of a special lucite designed to look like a completely transparent ice creature; even the parts inside it were clear. It had red sclerae which would turn to white when it was shut down. The feet were actually maneuvered on treadmills.
Personality[]
The creature was ruthless and persistent.

Super strength: He is able to lift a large crate while searching for Daphne.

Season one[]
The Snow Creature attacked Chris Klug when he went alone for one last snowboarding ride at night, breaking his leg.
The gang encountered the creature while looking for clues. At first, Fred said that there was no reason to panic as the monster could just be a man in a costume. That was until Shaggy pointed out how there is no 'creep inside', peering through the monster's transparent body. Fred was injured trying to lure the creature away from his friends.
The creature was later seen by Velma, Daphne, Shaggy, and Scooby as it passed by the trial manager's shed. Avalanche Anderson was seen lying in the snow nearby, claiming that the monster attacked him.
Soon after Shaggy was entered into the contest, the Snow Creature chased him as he was snowboarding. He also attacked Daphne as she was investigating the abandoned ski slope. She tried to melt him with her hair dryer, but it had no effect on him.
Finally the gang set up a trap to capture the creature. Shaggy and Scooby led the monster to the trap, unfortunately falling into it themselves. A chase ensued between the two friends and he monster. This ultimately lead to them sliding down the abandoned ski slope and the monster shattering to pieces at the bottom. While it did manage to survive without the lower half of its body, Velma shut it down by taking out it's control panel.
Upon further examination, the gang discovered that the monster and the parts inside it were made of transparent lucite. This explained how Daphne couldn't melt the creature with her dryer. The person who controlled the creature was revealed to be Avalanche Anderson, who did it to regain his fame.
