the gang is at a Chinese New Year parade in China while watching the parade Scooby and Shaggy go off balance and land in a pile of trash cans later the gang goes to a Chinese antique shop where the gang buys a golden mask and then they are chased by skeleton shaped zombies who want the golden mask for their master the gang escapes to a Chinese art museum and are told a story about a Chinese creature named Zen Tuo by a guy named Mr Fong and the creatures ghost has returned later Daphne is kidnapped by the zombies to a temple that is in the hills Fred and Velma find Daphne behind an idol statue meanwhile Shaggy and Scooby run into the ghost of Zen Tuo and the zombies and get trapped in a storage room which the ghost wants to rebuild Scooby and Shaggy escape and land on the idols head and free Fred Velma and Daphne then Daphne shows a clue to the gang a pigeon coop then Fred resolves to trap the ghost of Zen Tuo they use a Chinese gong a couple of candle rockets and Shaggy's model train set from the mystery machine Fred explains his plan to capture the ghost and the ghost will step on the gong when he comes through the doorway Scooby has to quickly finish laying the tracks because Zen Tuo is coming then the ghost and his zombies land in a bag outside with Scooby doing a goof again the gang later unmasks him as Mr Fong who was the leader of a international smuggling ring the episode ends as Scooby and Shaggy race for a Scooby snack but the snack ends up in a mouses mouth
