Elsa Frankenteen is a teenage Frankenstein monster and a student of Miss Grimwood's Finishing School for Ghouls.

Physical appearance[]

Elsa is a tall, female humanoid, with pale skin, and a black hair updo with white streaks. She has a bolt on both sides of her neck, a bit of a heavy brow, and many stitches on her body. Her outfit consists of a dark green dress over a light green t-shirt with chunky brown sandals. She's also the second-oldest of the girls, as well as the tallest.

Personality[]

Like all Frankensteins, her movements were a little slow, and she did tend to point out the obvious; however, she is bright (having a love for science), strong, and tenacious. She is also a bit of a tomboy (like Winnie Werewolf).

Powers and abilities[]

As a composite being, Elsa possesses incredible superhuman strength. Although she lacks the speed and agility of the other girls, she compensates with great strength and extreme durability.

She seems to be very intelligent to make her father's gift in science class. She dances and swims very well.

Frankenteen father

The Shockman

She gave her father a "portable shockman" (a play on a Walkman), with a rechargeable battery that lasts for weeks. Her father also attended the final celebration dance.

Appearances[]

Notes/trivia[]

  • She had a habit of calling Shaggy, "Coach".
  • She has two hearts.
  • Elsa's name and appearance are suggestive of Elsa Lanchester, who played both Mary Shelley and The Monster's Mate in the 1935 film, Bride of Frankenstein. In particular, her hair resembles that of the film's eponymous character.
  • Elsa appeared in the OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes episode, Monster Party, along with Winnie Werewolf and other girls from Miss Grimwood's Finishing School for Ghouls. Pat Musick reprised the role in this episode.
  • The movie's second VHS cover art, also used for the DVD, depicts her with a greenish skin tone, while on the actual disc, her father's skin is colored green.
  • Her portable Shockman invention is a parody of Sony's Walkman cassette player.
