The Ghost of Captain Cutler was the alleged return of Captain Cutler. In reality, he faked his death so that he could steal yachts around Rocky Point Beach.
Physical appearance
Captain Cutler was dressed in a light green, old-fashioned deep sea diving suit that was covered in a type of glowing seaweed found only around the Graveyard of Ships.
Gold Key
He wore an all white diving suit, and had glowing eyes.
Personality
His personality seemed very lifeless, only making moans and groans when chasing the gang.
Powers and abilities
He left glowing footprints wherever he went, as a result of the glowing seaweed.
History
Early life
As the story went, during one dark, foggy night, Captain Cutler collided with a yacht, following his ship down to the ocean floor. After a while, he began to haunt Rocky Point Beach, to take his revenge by stealing the yachts at the marina by making them disappear.
Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!
Season one
It was later revealed that he was still alive and he and his wife faked his death so that they could steal the yachts and sell them. He was trapped unintentionally by Scooby after Mystery Inc.'s trap went wrong and identified by Shaggy after putting seaweed on Cutler to help his friends recognize who he really was.
Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?
Season one
The gang were on a boat when Fred said, "Here he comes, gang!" Captain Cutler appears, and Daphne says, "The Ghost of Captain Cutler!" Just when all seems lost, The Flash stopped time, tied up Captain Cutler, pushed the gang to land, and revealed that the ghost of Captain Cutler was Captain Cutler.
Season two
Captain Culter made a cameo on Morgan Freeman's documentary.
