In this movie we had a flashback scene to the gangs original case, although it was a completely different story to the one from the show. Here he was a man in mechanical wings and a mask, and he robbed banks to pay for his crazy experiments on creating real monsters. Then it was revealed that Jonathon died falling off of the prison roof trying to escape. He had actually survived and was the master mind behind the whole case. He made another pterodactyal ghost costume and made a monster out of it.
